GMBC Foundation Hosting 13th Annual Legacy Chase

For the 13th year, Greater Baltimore Medical Center is hosting Legacy Chase at Shawan Downs in Cockeysville.

The steeplechase racing event is expected to attract more than 7,000 spectators from across the region, according to a news release. A portion of the proceeds will benefit pediatric services at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center.  

Legacy Chase will also feature railside tailgating, live music, food and more, the release states. Guests who purchase Legacy Lunch Club tickets will have access to a buffet lunch and a tent to view the races. 

The first race posts at 1 p.m.
