BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 695 closed the inner loop between the exits for Charles Street and York Road Thursday, officials say. The driver suffered injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, according to authorities.

After 2:30 p.m., the State Highway Administration said all lanes were open on the outer loop, but there was a 2.1-mile backup.

The inner loop remained closed for cleanup.

The closure on the inner loop of I-695 would continue for an "extended time," Baltimore County fire officials said in an update shortly before noon.
