I-695 Crash Clears Near I-83: Officials

Update: All lanes have reopened on I-695, the State Highway Administration reported after 6:45 a.m.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Drivers taking the outer loop of Interstate 695 near I-83 Friday morning may want to take an alternate route. Otherwise, expect delays, the Maryland State Highway Administration advised after 6 a.m.

A crash has closed the four right lanes of I-695 at the exit for I-83, officials said.

Authorities reminded drivers of the Move Over Law, which requires slowing down or moving into a lane not immediately adjacent to law enforcement vehicles, emergency response vehicles, recycling trucks, trash trucks and service/utility vehicles with yellow or amber flashing lights or signal devices.
