I-695 Crash Near Providence Road Slows Beltway Traffic: Officials

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A three-vehicle crash is slowing traffic on the outer loop of Interstate 695 Friday afternoon near Towson, according to the Maryland Department of Transportation's Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART). Traffic is getting by on the left.

Officials said the crash occurred just before 3 p.m. on the outer loop of I-695 before the exit for Providence Road.

The right lane and right shoulder are closed, authorities reported at 3:10 p.m.
