I-695 Crash Slows Traffic Near Providence Road

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A crash near Towson closed lanes on both the inner and outer loops of the Baltimore beltway Sunday afternoon, officials said.

After 4 p.m., the Providence Volunteer Fire Company reported its crews were responding to the crash on I-695 near Providence Road, which had blocked all lanes on the inner loop and the left lane on the outer loop.

By 4:20 p.m., officials said lanes had reopened, and the crash had been moved to the left shoulder.
