Lil Dicky's Closes For One Week, With Liquor License Suspended
A Towson bar is closed temporarily.
TOWSON, MD — A Towson bar is closed for at least a week as it works to resolve fire code violations and hire more staff. The Baltimore County Board of Liquor License Commissioners also suspended the establishment's liquor license for one week starting Tuesday, Oct. 29.
Lil Dicky's Saloon was closed by order of the fire marshal Friday. The fire marshal conducted a "surprise" inspection Oct. 25 and found that there were not enough extension cords and the fire alarms had to be brought up to code and modernized, according to the bar's owner.
During a hearing Monday, the Baltimore County Board of Liquor License Commissioners voted not to impose any fines but instead to allow Lil Dicky's owner Dennis J. Danielxzyk Jr. time to bring things up to code at the location.
