Matthew Perry Hearn, 26

On July 13, 2017, following a climbing accident in Salt Lake, Utah. Matthew Perry Hearn, beloved son of Annette L. Perry Hearn and Frederick William Hearn, Jr.; devoted brother of Sarah Frances Hearn and her fiancé Fletcher C. MacDonald; loving partner of Caitlin Michael Lemmon of Salt Lake City, Utah; dear grandson of Frances Phillips Perry and the late Garland Lee Perry and Frederick William Hearn and Patricia Hearn Blanchard; nephew of Sandra Perry Caslin, Louis Timothy Caslin, Timothy Richard Hearn, Joyce Krideler Hearn and Katherine Ann Hearn; also survived by many other family members and friends.

Friends may call at the family-owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit 26), on Wednesday, July 19, from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, July 20, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

A Celebration of Matt's Life will be held on Friday, July 21, at 11 a.m. in Kraushaar Auditorium at Goucher College, 1021 Dulaney Valley Road, Towson, Maryland. Interment Private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may go to two funds set up in Matt Hearn's name.

This will be an endowed scholarship to carry on Matt's legacy through future Westminster Men's Lacrosse players.
