Mexican On The Run Food Truck Now Has Towson Headquarters

TOWSON, MD — A popular food truck offering tacos and other Mexican dishes will be parking in Idlewylde. Mexican on the Run announced this week that its new "home base" — with a kitchen and food truck in the same location — will be in Towson near the city-county line.

"We’ll be able to do more catering events, pick-up orders, weddings, farmers markets and even add more specials to our existing menu," Mexican On The Run posted on Facebook on Monday, Jan. 7.

The food truck will be parked at 6318 Sherwood Road, according to the Towson Times, which reported the idea was to bring offerings that were popular in Baltimore City to Baltimore County.

Owner Jimmy Longoria is also planning to put in service a second food truck serving Mexican seafood dishes in the next six months, the Towson Times reported.

Longoria will take a trip to his hometown of Los Angeles to get inspiration for the food trucks as the business grows and expands its menu, he told Baltimore magazine.

"Two and a half years we’ve waited for this moment," Mexican On The Run posted on its Facebook page. "We owe every customer a huge THANK YOU."
