The Orient Opens In Towson
The Chinese and Japanese restaurant is back, in a new location, on York Road.
TOWSON, MD — The Orient has officially opened on York Road. The restaurant that features Chinese and Japanese cuisine is located next to the Melting Pot in Towson.
The eatery opened Tuesday for lunch, according to The Baltimore Sun, which reported the previous location closed in 2016, and owner David Huang made extensive renovations to the new space.
The previous location has since been occupied by LOTSA, a pizza restaurant.

The Orient is at 416 York Road in Towson. It is open for dine-in and take-out from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 11 a.m to 11 p.m Friday and Saturday. The owner also runs locations in Bel Air and Perry Hall.
