Perennial will serve American dishes with locally sourced ingredients, under the leadership of Chef Jay Rohlfing.
"The past year has been an evolution of thinking, imagining, inventing, pondering and testing that led us to create what will be an unparalleled dining experience," said Rohlfing, who has two decades of experience in the restaurant industry since graduating from the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts in 2000. His background includes working at Linwoods and Cunningham’s.
Perennial will be the next iteration of Cunningham's, which closed in January so that it could rebrand, according to The Baltimore Sun.
“We are excited to bring a new and modern dining concept to Towson," Rohlfing said.
The Perennial menu will feature the following:
- Ocean City Scallops with a spring pea salad and a tarragon vinaigrette
- Tempura flounder with vegetable slaw, Chow-Chow dressing and remoulade
