Providence VFC Is Hosting 2 Recruitment Events This Weekend

TOWSON, MD — This weekend there will be recruiting events around the state of Maryland as various agencies seek volunteer firefighters. In the Towson area, the Providence Volunteer Fire Company is holding two, one on Saturday and another on Sunday.

There will be station tours, hands-on activities and demonstrations.

To apply to be a firefighter at Providence Volunteer Fire Company, people must be at least 16.

There are also positions available for non firefighters.

The recruiting weekend will take place from noon to 4 p.m on Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14, at Providence Volunteer Fire Company, 1416 Providence Road, Towson, MD 21286.
