Public Hearings Set For Maryland Toll Savings Plan
The Maryland Transportation Authority is holding public hearings next month on a plan to save drivers money at the toll booth.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — With a toll modernization system coming online next year, the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) is holding public hearings on a package of tolling options that would provide cost savings for motorists. The administration of Gov. Larry Hogan says the toll relief package could save Marylanders more than $28 million over five years.
The MDTA has scheduled a series of public hearings, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at locations across Maryland. An open house at each event will begin at 6 p.m., with testimony received from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Two hearings will take place in the Baltimore area:
