Public Invited To Forum Discussing Towson University Construction

The university is proposing project on about an acre of existing forest on its campus.

Towson University is hosting a forum to allow the public to air their concerns about upcoming construction on its campus.

According to a notice on the Greater Towson Council of Community Associations website, the Wednesday meeting will address a new pedestrian bridge across Osler Drive, a new signal at east Emerson and Osler drives and improvements to a nearby stream on about an acre of existing forest.

The primary intent of the forum is to address questions concerning the Maryland Department of Natural Resources' Forest Conservation Program Plan as it relates to construction efforts, the notice reads.

The meeting runs from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Room 111, Burdick Hall at the Towson University campus. The hall is located at the northwest corner of University Avenue and Towsontown Boulevard.
