R. John Therres peacefully passed away on July 2, 2017. He was born Nov. 8, 1948, to Evelyn (nee Schruefer) and John Therres in Baltimore.
He was the beloved husband for 32 years to Janice D. Therres (nee Brein), father to John B. Therres Sr., Aimee M. Farrell, Susan C. Tossman, and Steven M. Therres, and grandfather to Emma, John Jr., and Adam. He is survived by his sister Lois Pommer and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. He was a CPA, past president of ABC Inc., an avid train collector, and worked with many charitable organizations throughout his career.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at Ruck Towson Funeral Home, 1050 York Rd., Towson (at beltway exit 26) on Friday, July 14, from 2-4 p.m and 6-8 p.m. Additionally, a funeral mass will be held at The Church of the Immaculate Conception in Towson at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 15.
