Road Closed Near Towson Town Center On Easter

TOWSON, MD — A helicopter will be landing near Towson Town Center on Easter, according to Baltimore County government officials. Part of Fairmount Avenue will be closed for the day.

Fairmount Avenue will be closed between Dulaney Valley and Providence Road from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 21.

During the closure, the road will be used as a landing pad for a helicopter.

Contractors will use the helicopter to replace mechanical equipment on the roof of the mall.

"For safety reasons, this work is scheduled for daylight hours and for Easter Sunday, when the mall will be closed," county officials said.
