Salvatore "Skip" J. DeMarco III, M.D., Of Towson

Salvatore "Skip" J. DeMarco III, MD of Towson, died on March 2, 2017, from complications related to leukemia. Born Salvatore Joseph DeMarco III on January 17, 1933, to Salvatore DeMarco Jr., M.D., and Frances Krouse, he was raised in Guilford and was a graduate of Loyola High School, Loyola College and the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary Kay Ford DeMarco; three sons: Salvatore "Jay" Demarco IV (Celia), Stephen F. DeMarco (Emily), Scott C. DeMarco (Karen); and two daughters: Suzanne DeMarco Ferris (Jeffrey) and Kristen DeMarco Rickard (Chris); and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26) on Sunday, March 5, from noon to 5 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 6, at 10 a.m. at Cathedral of Mary Our Queen. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Good Samaritan Hospital, 5601 Loch Raven Blvd., Morgan Building, Suite 200, Baltimore, MD 21239.
