Five restaurants are participating in the program bringing diners outside in Towson.

TOWSON, MD — A new program making way for diners in Towson will launch this weekend. Seats on the Streets will bring patrons of five downtown restaurants into the street for their meals.
Pennsylvania Avenue will be closed from York Road to Washington Avenue for much of the day Saturday and Sunday. Pedestrians will be allowed; vehicles will not.
Developed in partnership with the Towson Chamber of Commerce, Seats on the Streets will operate from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through June. It may be extended.
