Sewers Coming to Idlewylde

The country reports recurring sanitary sewer overflows in the neighborhood.

The Idlewylde community will receive 700 feet of relief sewers.

Baltimore County is installing the sewers, between York and Loch Raven roads, to eliminate recurring sanitary sewer overflows, according to the county website. The construction of the new gravity lines, which are 15 and 16 inches in diameter, will start in March with an expected completion date in September.

The cost of the project is $275,000.
