Shelter Is Full, Dog Adopters Needed In Baltimore County

Have you been thinking about adopting a dog? The Baltimore County animal shelter is at capacity, and staff is asking the public for help.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — The dog room is packed at Baltimore County Animal Services, and the shelter is seeking people to adopt the canines. Anyone who adopts a dog at least a year old will also go home with a PetSmart gift card.

"We need your help! Our adoptable dog room is completely full, and we have many more dogs waiting to find homes," the shelter posted on Facebook Saturday, Aug. 10.

"We are in the swing of summer, and we are very full of dogs right now," according to a shelter representative who led a guided tour of the facility Saturday on Facebook.

Baltimore County Animal Services is at 13800 Manor Road Baldwin, MD 21013. Hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
