Spring is almost here, and it may bring a layer of fresh snow with it.

One of two eggs is hatching in a bald eagle nest monitored by a webcam at the National Arboretum.
The first cracks were spotted late Wednesday and were clear on the webcam Thursday morning. By Thursday afternoon, one of the eagles appeared to be sitting on the egg and guarding the nest. >>> Watch the webcam.
