'Homeless Jesus' On Display In Towson

Pray together for the homeless and poor while pondering the famous, life-sized bronze sculpture "Homeless Jesus" by Timothy Schmalz.

Join the special "Ecumenical Prayer Service" hosted by Immaculate Conception Church, 200 Ware Avenue in Towson, on Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 7 to 7:30 p.m. in the church. The event offers a unique opportunity to stand together in prayer for the homeless and poor while pondering the display of the famous, life-sized bronze sculpture Homeless Jesus by Timothy Schmalz.

The church has obtained the privilege of exhibiting this sculpture, a visual representation of Matthew 25:31-46, from Nov. 11 to Nov. 17 in the narthex.

The service will also honor and benefit the Assistance Center of Towson Churches' (ACTC) annual "Thanksgiving Basket" project. Various food items will be collected for its outreach initiative.
