Thomas J. Heffernan, 56, of Monkton

On Feb. 29, 2016, Thomas J. Heffernan, of Monkton; beloved husband of Tracey L. Heffernan (nee Taylor); devoted father of Shannon Taylor, Kelsey Catherine and Connor Owen Heffernan; loving son of the late Bill and Kay Heffernan and son-in-law of H. Lyle and Delores Taylor; dear brother of Kathleen Flynn (Vince), William Heffernan (Erin), Colleen Burke (Jeff) and brother-in-law of Karen Cleaves (Joany), Kay Raubenhold, Kim Caffrey, Chip Hockenberry (Heidi), Debra Boyer (John), Jeff Hockenberry (Diane); also survived by his fur children Bailey and Harley and also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will honor Tom’s life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services – Monkton, 16924 York Rd.(York & Monkton Rds. – Hereford), on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church - Parkton. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
