Towson Artist Offers Cancer Tribute Art, Portraits of Life & Fun

Will Brown, known for portraits of children lost to gun violence, partners with American Cancer Society offering cancer survivor hero art

Will Brown, known for painting touching portraits of children lost to gun violence in Baltimore and gifting them to their mothers, has turned his incredible talents to partnering with the American Cancer Society by creating Cancer Tribute Art.

Brown recently donated two beautiful, vividly colored tribute paintings that were auctioned to raise funds to fight cancer in recognition of two iconic Americans lost to the disease: Chadwick Boseman, the acclaimed actor from the movies "Black Panther" and "42," the biography in which he played Jackie Robinson, who died at age 43 of colon cancer last August, and US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died at age 87 of pancreatic cancer last September.

Brown, a self-taught artist who graduated from Patapsco High School for Center for the Arts, has a vibrant style as well as a heart of gold. He paints hero themes, often grouping his main subject together with iconic superheroes such as Batman, Spiderman and Wonder Woman. Prints of his RBG and Chadwick Boseman tribute paintings are available with a percentage of sales benefiting the fight against cancer with the American Cancer Society.

He also takes commissions of portraits of cancer survivors, loved ones lost to cancer, and healthcare heroes involved in the fight against cancer, with a percentage of the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. All Brown's cancer-themed work and commissions help benefit the Society's mission. Brown does this in memory of his grandparents who had cancer.

Brown also offers a wide selection of paintings and prints of imaginative scenes, pet portraits, art based on popular Disney themes and movies, pop culture characters, heroes, murals, city and landscapes and diversity. You can view his art and get in touch with him at:
