Towson Christmas Tree Lighting: Road Closure, Schedule, Parking
The tree lighting in Baltimore County will take place in Towson on Friday, Nov. 30, and will feature special guests, complimentary goodies.

TOWSON, MD — The tree lighting in Towson is set for Friday, Nov. 30. The annual affair takes place at Olympic Park near Towson Circle.
Both County Executive Don Mohler and County Executive-Elect John Olszewski Jr. will be at the annual event.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive by fire truck for the official Baltimore County tree lighting, which will be at approximately 6:22 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30.

Afterward, the Perry Hall Middle School Panthers, Gold Starz Marching Band of Baltimore and Towson's own Anna Apicella School of Dance will perform.
Free hot cocoa and cookies will be on hand.

The tree lighting festivities will be from approximately 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, at Olympic Park, 1 West Joppa Road, near Towson Circle.
Traffic Alert: Allegheny Avenue will be closed from Washington Avenue to the traffic circle from 4:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30.
Free Parking: Drivers can park for free at the 111 Allegheny Avenue parking garage from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30.
