Towson Giant Workers Test Positive For Coronavirus: Report
Some of the workers at the grocery store on York Road are reportedly self-isolating due to the virus.

TOWSON, MD — Two workers at the Giant on York Road have reportedly tested positive for the new coronavirus. The last time they worked was Tuesday, April 28, WMAR reported.
They will continue receiving pay while they self-isolate, according to the news station.

In April Giant Food reported it began installing Plexiglas shields at registers and providing all associates with face shields as well.

To slow the spread of the new coronavirus, Giant began limiting the number of customers in its stores to 20 percent of each specific store's overall capacity around April 9, taking into consideration shelving and display fixtures. To manage customer occupancy limits, an associate has been assigned to the front entrance to track shopper flow, and signage he been posted to reflect the new occupancy limits.
