Towson Restaurant Up For State Award

TOWSON, MD — A Towson restaurant is competing for the title of Maryland's favorite fast casual restaurant. THB Bagels & Deli has been nominated for the Restaurant Association of Maryland's Stars of the Industry Awards. The trade association sponsors the competition each year, and the public is invited to weigh in through online voting.

THB, which was formerly known as Towson Hot Bagels & Deli and has since changed its name to THB Bagels & Deli, has locations on Allegheny Avenue in Towson as well as in Timonium, Charles Village and Canton.

To win the title of Maryland's favorite fast casual restaurant, THB Bagels & Deli will have to get more votes than Potomac-based California Tortilla, New York's Shake Shack and Annapolis-headquartered Urban Bar-B-Que.

Winners will be announced May 5 at the Restaurant Association of Maryland's Stars of the Industry Awards Gala at the Renaissance Harborplace in Baltimore.

Voting continues through Monday, April 1.
