Towson Tigers Lacrosse Falls At NCAA Championship
Towson University played Ohio State Saturday in the NCAA lacrosse semifinals.

FOXBOROUGH, MASSACHUSETTS — The Towson Tigers traveled to Gillette Stadium for Saturday's NCAA lacrosse semifinals and lost in a game that was described as "a heartbreaker."
Ohio State won the matchup, 11-10, Saturday afternoon in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
According to Towson Athletics, the Tigers had the upper hand for the first three quarters, then the Buckeyes swooped in with a slew of goals to overcome their rivals in fourth.

Summing it up in a tweet, TU Men's Lacrosse stated: "Tigers drop a heartbreaker to Ohio State..."
It was reportedly the first trip to the NCAA lacrosse semifinals for Towson since 2001.

Next, Ohio State will take on another Maryland team; the University of Maryland Terrapins will face the Ohio State Buckeyes on Monday afternoon for the NCAA championship.
