Towsontown Spring Festival 2018: Lineup, Hours, Music

The Towsontown Spring Festival is happening this weekend.

TOWSON, MD — Towson will come alive with carnival rides, entertainers, artists and vendors this weekend for the annual Towsontown Festival. The two-day event attracts about 250,000 visitors a year.

Towson Chamber of Commerce puts on the popular festival. More than 450 vendors will be selling art, food and jewelry.

Live music and other entertainment will be on tap, in addition to a beer garden.

The Towsontown Spring Festival, now in its 51st year, is a rain-or-shine event.

Opening Ceremonies

The opening ceremonies will be at noon on Saturday, May 5, at the corner of Washington and Pennsylvania Avenues, with bagpipers, Color Guard and the National Anthem.

  • 3–3:30 p.m.: Brick Bodies

Music will be located off Washington Avenue in the courthouse gardens. There will be a beer garden with food trucks, tables and chairs. Pets will not be allowed in the beer garden/music area. All ages are welcome, but ID proving age of 21 is required to drink alcohol.

Family Fun Area: Located at the corner of Washington and Allegheny Avenues

The Towsontown Spring Festival is from 10 a.m.–8 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, and 1–6 p.m. on Sunday, May 6. It is held from York Road to Bosley Avenue and Susquehanna Avenue to Allegheny Avenue in downtown Towson.

Admission is free. Parking rates around the festival will be adjusted to $5 per day. To get to the festival, use the address 400 Washington Avenue, Towson.
