Uber Driver Accused Of Sexual Assault In Baltimore County: Report
The Baltimore County police say the alleged victim's father tracked down the Uber vehicle using a special app, says media report.

TOWSON, MD — The Baltimore County police are asking the public for tips in the investigation of an Uber driver accused of committing a sexual assault last weekend, according to a media report. The victim, an unidentified woman, told the police that the assault occurred Saturday night in Mays Chapel, WBAL-TV Channel 11 reported.
The police are investigating the case as a second-degree rape, WBAL reported. They have not identified the driver and said that no charges have been filed against him.
The incident began late Saturday night when the Uber driver picked the woman up and was supposed to drop her off at a location in Baltimore County.

When she didn't make it to that location, the victim's father used a special app to track down the vehicle to an area near Timonium Road and Jenifer Road in Mays Chapel, WBAL reported.
The father then confronted the Uber driver, who drove off, according to a police spokesman.

Uber officials said in a statement that reports of the incident are "appalling beyond words," WBAL reported. The company said it has removed the driver from the app and is working with the police in their investigation.
