Uncle Wiggly's Closes In Towson
A restaurant near Idlewylde/Stoneleigh has shuttered.
TOWSON, MD — A beloved ice cream and sandwich shop has closed in Towson. Uncle Wiggly's shuttered.
A sign on the door showed that the restaurant had been evicted and owed $5,805.95 in restitution. The notice was from the Baltimore County District Court, which approved the eviction as of Dec. 5, 2019.
The eviction notice was signed off on Jan. 24.

Rising rent was to blame for the downfall of the ice cream and sandwich shop, business partner Bich Lien Le, who took over the eatery in 2015, told the Baltimore Business Journal. According to the newspaper, she closed the shop in December.
Uncle Wiggly's was at 6911 York Rd.
