Vintage Towson: Horse Company
Check out this historic photograph, courtesy of the Baltimore County Public Library.

It's not known where exactly in Towson this photo was taken back in the early 20th century.
But the best guess, according to the Baltimore County Public Library catalog, places it at the corner of York Road and E. Pennsylvania Avenue.
The catalog entry says that the spot that today houses an Urban Outfitters store is the most likely location for the Towson Horse Company. Over the history of the lot, it has also been occupied by Twin Foods, Mano Swartz Furriers and Hudson Trail Outfitters, according to the library catalog.
