Wind Advisory Issued for Baltimore Metro

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory Monday, with gusts up to 50 mph anticipated during the advisory period, which lasts from noon to midnight.
Power lines and tree limbs may come down, and those driving high-profile vehicles may have difficulties, weather officials say.

The strongest winds will come in waves, the first of which will be midday and the next in the late afternoon through the evening hours, according to the weather service.
The wind advisory applies to the following areas, according to the National Weather Service: Allegany, Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick, Harford, Howard and Montgomery counties.
