10-Year-Old Girl Dies From Gunshot In Aquasco: Police

BREAKING: Prince George's County Police are investigating what led to the fatal shooting of a 10-year-old girl in the Aquasco area.

AQUASCO, MD — Prince George's County Police are investigating what led to the fatal shooting of a 10-year-old girl Friday night in the Aquasco area. The shooting happened in the 15500 block of Saint Phillips Road, where the girl was pronounced dead on the scene.

Lt. Manuel Rivera told WTOP the girl died from a gunshot wound to the upper body just before 10 p.m.

Detectives working to establish the circumstances leading up to the girl's death in the southern part of the county.
