31st Annual Festival Of Lights Scheduled In PG County
Looking to have some holiday fun? Enjoy holiday lights, apple cider and music at the annual Festival of Lights at Watkins Regional Park.
UPPER MARLBORO, MD — Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation will host their 31st annual Festival of Lights at Watkins Regional Park from Friday, Nov. 24 to Monday, Jan. 1.
The event features millions of lights running throughout the park and on one of the state's tallest trees. New to this year's event, officials synchronized the tree lights to dance to seasonal music. Attendees can also enjoy warm apple cider, hot chocolate and happy holiday tunes.
Officials will be collecting canned good donations for a local food bank at the event. Last year, over 300 boxes of food was collected.
