District 4 Police to Host Neighborhood Watch Walk

Police officers from the county's District 4 office will host a “Neighborhood Watch Walk” this Saturday with residents along Middleton Lane in Camp Springs. The walk, according to police information, is designed to foster candid dialogue between the police department and community, and to promote the local neighborhood watch programs.

During the walk, the police will offer crime prevention pamphlets and safety tips. There will also be free food, live music, face painting, gift certificates and an appearance by McGruff the Crime Dog.
