in Upper Marlboro is hosting an open house for local parents and guardians. According to its web site, school officials don't emphasize test scores as the students are responsible for their own educational development.
"Fairhaven students grow emotionally, creatively, and intellectually through play, school governance, conversation, the arts, classes, computer activities, reading, and the exploration of nature," the site said.
