4.) YOU SAID IT » "I adopted a 4 month old lab/golden mix from the shelter many years ago when my son was 8 years old. He never got as big as his huge paws would indicate. But, his heart was just humongous. Such a sweet baby too. So sweet in fact when I would take him on his walks we were shortly joined by the neighborhood black feral cat. The kitty wasn't all that crazy about me, but she walked beside, in front of, behind and sometimes under my baby. It was quite the sight for all that witnessed that friendship. When I became disabled he was always by my side, and he knew when I was in a lot of pain. Then he couldn't quite get up onto my bed anymore so I got him the steps to help him.
