Forestville Man Shot Dead on Walters Lane

A man is dead after he was shot last night in a parking lot along Walters Lane in Forestville. A woman was also shot during the incident, but her injuries were non-life threatening, according to police.

Police officers found the shooting victims shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday, in a parking lot along the 3300 block of Walters Lane. The man, identified as Forestville resident Anthony Ray Washington, was pronounced dead on the scene.

The woman, 33, was taken to a local hospital and treated. Homicide detectives are investigating the double shooting.
