Man Dead After Knife Attack in Oxon Hill
Jakari Butler was found along the 1000 block of Marcy Avenue.

A man is dead after he was reportedly attacked with a knife last night in Oxon Hill.
At 5:30 p.m. Friday, county police officers went to the 1000 block of Marcy Avenue for a reported cutting. When they arrived, they found Jakari Butler suffering from a knife attack. Butler, 20, was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead. He lived along the 5600 block of Sachem Drive in Oxon Hill, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing.
