The county police department is investigating a shooting that occurred along the 6010 block of Princess Garden Parkway in Lanham.
At about 2 a.m., police went to the location for a reported shooting. Once on the scene, investigators discovered that the shooting victim took himself to a local hospital after being shot. He then told police that he was injured along Princess Garden Parkway. It is unknown how the man was shot.
The injury is non-life threatening. Detectives are investigating possible motives and suspect information.
