Oxon Hill Fatal Shooting Suspects Charged By PG County Police
Prince George's County Police charged two suspects in connection with a Monday night fatal shooting in Oxon Hill.

UPPER MARLBORO, MD — Prince George's County Police homicide detectives charged two suspects in connection with a fatal shooting Monday in Oxon Hill, according to a police release. The victim was identified as Howard Nakia Graham, 24, of Washington, D.C.
On Monday at about 7:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Southern Avenue for the report of a shooting. Arriving on the scene, the officers found Graham outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene. A second individual was also shot and was treated for non-life threatening wounds.
After noticing a vehicle that matched the car driven by the suspects, the responding officers stopped the vehicle nearby, took the suspects into custody, and recovered a gun from inside the vehicle. The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.

PGPD identified the suspects as Deantre Hilliard, 24, of the 1400 block of Tobias Drive in Southeast, Washington DC, and Leonard Toney, 39, of the 4400 block of Reverend Davis Drive in Upper Marlboro. Police charged Hilliard and Toney with first and second degree murder and related charges. They are being held in custody at the Department of Corrections.
