Police Investigate Fatal Crash Involving Upper Marlboro Man
Prince George's County Police are investigating a Saturday morning collision that killed an Upper Marlboro man.
UPPER MARLBORO, MD: The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit of the Prince George's County Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Saturday morning in Forestville, according to a police report. The victim was identified as Gerald Lewis Brown Jr., 41, of Upper Marlboro.
On Jan. 18, around 7:55 a.m., officers were dispatched to the report of collision involving a single vehicle in the 10200 block of Marlboro Pike.
Investigating the scene, officers determined Brown was the sole occupant of the vehicle, which had been traveling westbound on Marlboro Pike, when, for unknown reasons, he drove off the road and struck a pole. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
