Police Search for Critical Missing Mother and Child

Prince George's police are seeking the public's help in finding Stefanie Anne Hamrick of Greenbelt and her one-year old daughter.

Update, Feb. 14, 5:35 p.m.: Prince George's police announced Thursday that a missing Greenbelt mother and her one-year-old daughter had been found in Washington DC in good health.

Original Post, Feb. 13, 9:37 a.m.: A Greenbelt, MD woman and her one-year-old daughter are critical missing and police are asking for the public's help to find them.

Stefanie Anne Hamrick, 25, and her baby Leonay Heaven Inabnett, both of the 8500 block of Greenbelt Road were last seen at around 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 7 walking towards a bus stop in the same block where they live, according to Prince George's County police.

Family members informed detectives that they have had no contact with Hamrick since that day and that they do not believe she has any means to support herself or her daughter.

Henrick is described as a 5-foot-5, black female, weighing 170 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a dark complexion. She has a scar on her left thigh, and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a tan leather jacket, according to police.

Inabnett is described as a 2-foot-6 black female weighing 30 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a dark complexion. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket and blue jeans, according to police. 

Police asked that anyone with information on their whereabouts call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Regional Investigation Division, Central Region at (301) 390-2143. Police said anyone wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477), text “PGPD plus your message” to CRIMES (274637) on your cell phone or go to the police's website and submit a tip online.
