POLL: Wizards Making the Playoffs?
There's nothing like blind optimism to start an NBA season.
, the games were finally underway on Christmas, as fans got to see MVP Derrick Rose, Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, and others.
Although I'm an avid basketball fan, I can't really get into college ball until the NCAA tournament (at which time, nothing else matters). So for the NBA to return on Christmas day felt natural, as if it were supposed to happen that way all along.
Which brings my attention to the hometown Washington Wizards, whose exciting young point guard John Wall provides a glimmer of hope for the struggling squad. Last year, the Wizards went 23-59 and won only three games on the road. They even had a losing record at home, winning 20 games and dropping 21.
