Town of Upper Marlboro Unveils Operating Budget

The town of Upper Marlboro has unveiled an $854,886 operating budget for fiscal 2012 that includes $193,116 for general government expenses, $295,339 for public works expenditures and more than $366,400 for public safety costs. 

Town commissioners introduced the spending plan with little details during its May 17th meeting. The commissioners are scheduled to approve the budget on June 7. Fiscal 2012 begins July 1.
