NSA Worker's Theft of Top-Secret Defense Files 'Flagrant Abuse': Prosecutors
A Maryland contractor working for the National Security Agency was indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury on charges of willful retention of national defense information, which could have caused "exceptionally grave damage to the national security of the United States" if released, prosecutors say. Suspect Harold Thomas Martin III, 51, of Glen Burnie, was arrested in August 2016 by federal authorities for allegedly stealing "highly classified computer codes," and has been described by security officials as a "weirdo." >>> Read more.
