Upper Marlboro Could Benefit From New Mortgage Center

County executive Baker will be in Greenbelt to open the countywide facility.

Upper Marlboro, a wealthy surburban community with a , could benefit from a new countywide Mortgage Help Center opening tomorrow for Fannie Mae customers.

County Executive Rushern L. Baker III will be on hand with Fannie Mae president Mike Williams, and HomeFree-USA president Marcia Griffin, to open the Greenbelt center.

Prince George's County continues to lead the state in foreclosures. At tomorrow's opening, county homeowners who are in default and at the risk of foreclosure can meet directly with experienced housing advisors to discuss their mortgage situation.

The grand opening is 10 a.m., Wednesday, at 6401 Golden Triangle Drive, Suite 120, in Greenbelt.
