Washington Post: Leslie Johnson Seeks Third Delay of Preliminary Hearing

The District 6 councilwoman and her husband Jack B. Johnson were arrested in November.

District 6 Councilwoman Leslie E. Johnson has asked a federal judge to delay a preliminary hearing on evidence-tampering charges, because she needs more time to investigative the allegations, according to a report in today's Washington Post.

Johnson and her husband, former Prince George's County executive Jack B. Johnson, were arrested in November as part of an apparent pay-to-play scheme in the county.

The hearing was originally scheduled for December.
