1. . The trooper was at the man’s home to serve a warrant for drug distribution. King was taken to the Prince George’s Hospital Center, where he is under police guard.

2. A number of organizations  that will oppose same-sex marriage during the 2012 legislative session in Annapolis. Gov. Martin O'Malley has promised to take a more prominent role and will sponsor a bill legalizing same-sex marriage.

3. at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. Both programs are looking to make school history as neither team has ever captured a state championship in the sport.  

4. The community is rallying around the Old Marlboro Elementary School site in Upper Marlboro. A county developer is looking to build a Family Justice Center in its place. ?

5. The Prince George’s County Police Department re-arrested Frederick Lawrence Scott on Tuesday, six months after they accidentally set him free because of a clerical error. After Scott was arrested this week, he appeared in Upper Marlboro for a bond review. .
