Here is a summary of nearby shopping options in Prince George's County and beyond.

Black Friday is a holiday in its own right: You eat mounds of turkey and all the trimmings, only to get out of bed at 4 a.m. and shop at your favorite department stores.

But things have changed this year as some stores opened at midnight (heck, some of you reading this possibly spent last night shopping).

Still wondering where to find the best deals? Don't worry! Here's a rundown of deals in your backyard.

If you're looking to travel a little further, try Arundel Mills Mall in Hanover, which will stay open until 10 p.m. tonight. They have sales at the Kenneth Cole Company Store, Nike Factory Store and Crocs, among several other stores.

Target

The familiar department store is running a two-day sale that ends Saturday. For instance, they have 32-inch Samsung HD TVs on sale for $278, and Sportcraft Table Tennis tables on sale for $88. You can also save money on a Sony Blu-ray Disc player and iPod Nano.

Best Buy

The notable electronics store is running a Thanksgiving weekend sale on everything – from computers and TVs, to home appliances and music instruments. There are HP Pavilion laptops on sale for $380 and digital cameras on sale for $149.

Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart has been open since 12 midnight. There, you can find sales on trampolines ($158), Huffy women’s bikes ($69), and telescopes ($40). 

Macy’s

Not everybody wants electronics for the holidays. If that’s the case, consider Macy’s, which has sales on shoes, kitchen appliances and jewelry. Save 50 percent off women’s boots and 40 percent off coffee makers. Crew neck sweaters are on sale for $40.
